New Diabolica Logo!

I spent some time today making a new logo for Diabolica!! That is a .gif version for the game pages, the logo on the title screen has its own animated effect! I have updates to post later, I've made some more important changes!

Introducing Diabolica

Introduction

Diabolica is an RPG created by myself, Storm Scott. It is an adventure and a dungeon crawler mix, with different parts of the game having the main theme being one of those. The story follows Alder, a mercenary under hire by a rather mysterious man named Cameron. With the generous information provided to him, he is to seek out three people who share similarities with Alder, that being the ability to use seemingly super-natural abilities that regular human beings cannot use. Alder travels the Forest, Jungle, and Mountain regions recruiting a person from each, and then journeys into the Shadelands to ascend the Shadeland Tower, where a powerful evil entity known as Paingiver rests.

Explore the four regions of the game, finding the two people while gathering your strength, then head up the surreal tower known as the Shadeland Tower, where each level is a different and surreal experience.

Some features:
The game has several features, notably:

• Item synthesis system - to create new items from old equipment and enemy drops, allowing the player to power themselves up beyond a normal level.

• An achievements system - for the perfectionist players who like seeing everything perfect.

• Various mini-games - a gambling shop, koala racing, rabbit hunting, and more!

• A front-view turn based battle system with animated enemy graphics that is pleasing to the eye.

• Two optional characters an observant player can recruit!


This project isn't too ambitious, and shouldn't take too long to complete. I thought I would start out with something smaller (Though this really isn't THAT SMALL, maybe 10 hours) so I can finally complete a project. I have high hopes for this one, so be on the lookout if you're interested~

Hello, everyone! I made a blog, everybody seems to be doing them these days, so why not?

 I will primarily be using this blog as a place to post general updates on the *multiple* projects I am working on, and post resources and scripts I make as I develop them. Eventually, if you look around hard enough, you will find some really cool stuff!

Since I currently am focused on giving this blog a 'personal touch', let me list some of my priorities. (There is nothing else to say really! :>)

1. Customizing the theme.
2. Splitting up the blog into separate sections for my various projects, and then resources and scripts.
3. Adding some 'gadgets' of sorts that are relevant and helpful for blog navigation.

I am looking forward to all of this!
